Rain o'er me

January 25, 2018

When it's raining, and you have nothing to write about, so you write about rain - Jan. 24th 2018

Rain down, rain o'er me

Rain o'er everyone, crying concrete

Head down, head under clouds

Sole in the city streets, rain o'er me

Rain down,  rain o'er me

Long yellow raincoat, covers my knees

Heart aches, coat keep me safe

Nothing is guaranteed, Rain o'er me

Rain down, rain down on me

Car wheels in lanes, shower my feet

Heart wheels gone lost in the flood

Drowning in pity creek, rain o'er me

Rain down,  rain down on me

He took our umbrella, and wondered off east

Sunlight, is far out of reach.

Gone with the current, rain o'er me

Rain down, rain o'er me

Give me the hide tide, sink down dreams

Tears bleed, The day that he left

Drumming a lonesome beat, rain o'er me
